  The owner (or who I assumed to be the owner) was so hospitable and helpful during my stay there. She directed me to a few online places to look for apartments/houses in the area. I booked a 1-night stay and ended up staying 3. I had a complete kitchen and it was centrally located so I ciuld actually make use of it after grocery shopping at the St. Vrain Market. It is an older property so don't expect total luxury but it is clean and very well-maintained. Such a steal for a wonderful location and wonderful ownership!

  Homey, clean, and retro. Friendly staff. The wifi turned off around 10 PM, which wasn't a problem for me but might be an issue if you need it for work or something. It was nice to have a full kitchen. The motel is within walking distance from several bars, a pinball arcade, and numerous other local businesses. One of my favorite places to stay in Colorado so far.

  Love this little funky motel. You will have everything you need. The place is do clean. Sue the owner is awesome. We have been here 3 times. Everything is within walking distance. Lyons, CO is a cool mountain town which everything is locally owned.

The Aspen Leaf Motel is pretty much the only game in town! It's really the only motel in Lyons. There are a few bed and breakfasts, and a number of camping sites around, but if you want to have running water and a real bed, you'd have to go here.
