  Rustic River Cabins was a unbelievable experience. Check-in was a 30 second process, everything from the owner's hospitality, cabin cleanliness, hot tub, the sound of the big Thompson river rushing by and great location a couple minutes from Estes park was just on point. We left st.louis to stay in the snowball strip cabin for a week at the end of june the cabin was very clean and well maintained and it was a great size for me the wife and our two kids. If you are reading this review and trying to decide whether to book or not. BOOK NOW you will not be disappointed the only thing we didn't like about the stay was having to leave.

  Great rustic cabins by the river. Well stocked, clean, and quaint. Very accomodating hosts/owners.

  This place is so perfect, I can't put into words how amazing it is!! If I could come back every weekend, I would! Great staff, incredible owners, beautiful scenery, peaceful, and all the amenities were even that much more worth it. Fair pricing and a homey feel, you'll leave wishing you didn't have to go!

  We loved this place so much. Very clean humble little cabins with an amazing view and fantastic hot tubs. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The beds seem rather old but we both slept well. We will definitely be back!

  If you stay anywhere else on The Big Thompson River, you are missing out. This place is a hidden gem tucked nicely away in the Rockies. Me and my girlfriend stayed for 6 days, 5 nights. During this time we encountered Elk, Chipmunks, good people and amazing views. The owners James and Jeanine made us feel welcome and comfortable, they put their heart into this place and its shows. The cabins are comfortable for all seasons, and the hot tubs are icing on the cake. Downtown Estes Park is a short drive away but far enough so you feel secluded. Like hiking? Trails right behind your cabin. Want to fish? Step out front and cast a line. I highly recommend this location for anyone with families, pets, or a young couple like ourselves. We were sad to leave but cannot wait to come back!!
  
  Edit: We came right back the next year, still had an amazing time!
