I live an hour away from the Ft. Collins Temple, but the trip is well worth it. The temple always fills me with peace and makes the following week better.
It's very gorgeous. I like walking around the grounds with my kids. You can't go into the temple unless you are baptized member For this church, but there is a bathroom and waiting room inside that anyone can go in, and like I said, you can walk around the grounds and play by the fountain as well. It's quite peaceful.
My wife and I went with two of our friends to participate in baptisms for some people who never had a chance to hear the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ while they were alive. We felt a sweet spirit that day, and every time we've gone there to perform other ordinances for those who have passed on without a chance to receive them.
I love the temple, and invite everyone to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints so that they can understand why the temple is so special to us.
One of the most beautiful temples I've ever seen. It was very well built. Even if you're not part of the church, it's a wonderful place to look at. Although, only members are allowed inside the building. It is considered a sacred place to visit.
Such a beautiful exterior of this building. We were not able to go inside because we were travelling, but you could feel the peace and love of God on the temple grounds. The fountain was gorgeous and I loved the blue accents on the building. It really suites the surrounding city. Someday we will return!
