Nice trail with very clean bathrooms & picnic area. Beautiful garden with bumble bees and hummingbirds all over the flowers. $2 fee
This is a beautiful 7 mile loop that you can ride or run on without fear of cars. I really enjoy this place because it is cut in the forest allowing you to see all sorts of wildlife as you go along the trail. We have been lucky enough to see deer, turkey, rabbits, birds, and a tortoise.
Great place to train, whether walking, running, biking, or eve rollerblading. If you using an app like "Map my Ride" journal wind and weather. Love the trail, but do not like the parking fee.
I brought my family here and had a great time! If you bring your children make sure to keep them to the right and to listen for "on your left" and you will have no problems. There are long stretches of no shade so sunscreen is a must! But there are a few shaded spots to rest with fresh water. A wonderful bike path right here in Tampa Bay area. We cannot wait to go back.
The trail is a one way, 7 mile loop so be prepared. My kids were 9 and 7, we rested a lot, took plenty of stops to look for gators and we finished it in about 2 hours (lots and lots of stopping😄).
This place is AWESOME! There is a 7 mile loop made for bicycling. It travels out through a wilderness area and is a totally enjoyable ride. Very relaxing. You can go your own speed without having to worry about autos or other such hazards. Occasionally you will most likely be passed by some of the faster riders but the path is about 10 feet wide so no worries! Parking for your auto is $2 for the day or passes are available. If you love to ride your bike you definitely need to visit here!
