Heritage Park

Beautiful park for walking and enjoying the beautiful city of Venice, if you are visiting Venice on a Saturday be sure to check out the Farmer Market and the take a nice stroll down the walkway of this park which leads you right to Venice beach. It was such a beautiful walk and so peaceful even on a warmer day. I also found my fisrt Venice rock as I was walking this trail. I was so excited. Definitely recommend visiting this part of Venice. The park is also dog friendly.

The banyan trees here are incredible. You’ve got to see them at least once. This is the old-school area of Venice and the neighborhoods remind me a lot of Coral Gables in Miami. Except here you can walk right to the beach.

Nice Part plenty of parking and easy access to the beach with showers outside

Love Heritage Park, both by day and at night -- they light it well. With how close it is to downtown, it also makes for my favorite shady parking spot all along Venice Ave. There are quite a few different types of trees here, with the large banyan trees coming out on top as favorites.

This park just had a renovation. Repaved walkways from downtown to the beach, added lighting, better wheelchair access and larger bench sitting areas.
