Our family enjoys coming to Lake Beresford Park to walk, skate and bike the paved trails and hike the various well cared for unpaved paths. There is a small playground and pavilion with picnic tables and nice, clean restrooms located nearby. We bring our dogs on leashes. Parking is sometomes a hot commodity on busy days but most of the time we have no issue. Tonight we saw 5 deer cross the trail in front of us. The property is beautiful!
Love this park, bike trail is nicely paved. I bring my kids here on weekends. They have a playground as well and different routes and can even go hiking.
Great little park with a 1.8 mi trail. The main trail is paved and you meet hikers, bikers and runners. Several unpaved trails snake through the park. It's really nice and quiet throughout the park. The restroom at the main parking lot was really nice and clean.
I use this trail often, both walking and riding my bike. I like this as a biking trail because of it's knolls. That makes it a good workout for me on my single-speed bike. :-) And the trail is GROWING. That's very exciting.
Short walk to lake. Well maintained. Kids enjoyed the playground. Part of the spring to spring hiking /biking trail. (3.3 miles on trail to Blue Springs State Park, one way) also has 1.8 mile loop inside the park. Can walk your leashed dog here.

Lake Beresford Park-on the east shore of a widening in the St. Johns River-is a favorite of trail users. Opened in 2007, its paved 1.8-mile multipurpose path circles some of the public lands and connects to Volusia County's major Spring-to-Spring Trail, where visitors can walk, bike or skate three miles south to Blue Spring State Park.
