Most peaceful place on earth! Emerald green water is mesmerizing. Many trails for walking and bike trails also. Free parking. Please enjoy!
Beautiful spot to walk or bike ride, and nice and quiet. I love that there are spots all over the park to sit down and take in nature.
I love Green Spring Park. There are many nice trails that meander through the woods and over the small brooks in the woods behind the spring. The spring itself is lovely in that sea-green, teeming with small fish like minnows and a few turtles, too. There's a wonderful pavilion for rentals and a very nice public bathroom. The park is conveniently linked not only for car access, but also to the bike trail.
The springs are even better than the pictures. My family lived in Sanford half their lives and never went. Easy walk, nice pavilion, and a playground for the kids. We were all awestruck.
