When I was 15 years old I broke my back in multiple places in an unfortunate accident.

Fast forward many years and a full career of competitive wakeboarding, I had no choice but to face spinal surgery, as my back had only gotten worse, year by agonizing year.

I searched for neurosurgeons in my area, found what seemed like a competent doctor. He completely ruined my back so badly I had to immediately seek out another neurosurgeon to fix the massive malpractice and sheer incompetence of the aftercare when they realized the mistake the Gainesville, ga surgeon(who I will not name) had made.

This lead me to ortho Atlanta, no Piedmont orthopedics, Dr. Kasow and Nicole were a breath of fresh air! They were very understanding and clear on what should be done. Not only did Dr. Kasow take me on as a patient to save my active lifestyle, he went the extra mile during the surgery when he found more damage caused by the previous surgeon.

I will forever be grateful to the entire team at Piedmont orthopedics. Coming up on a decade of care with them, from knee surgeries to general pain management from my back and sciatic nerve damage.

I always recommend them to anyone I come in contact with and use my cautionary tale to try and help others avoid the damage that can be caused by incompetence in some medical professions.

I will be forever grateful to Dr. Kasow, Nicole and all the team members for literally saving my life!

Going to Piedmont Orthopedic/Orthoatlanta is always a pleasure. The personnel are always professional always smiling. Dr Kasow has been my doctor since 2016 when I broke my back. He is an awesome doctor my life would not have returned to normal if not for him. I had 2 rods and 5 screws put in my back, I walk with no limp or crutches or walker. My friends can’t believe I can walk normally. His bedside manner is good he explains everything to you. I’ve been so impressed with him that I have no problem recommending him when one of my friends needs to see a spine doctor. I’m very happy with Piedmont orthopedic/Orthoatlanta in norcross, Ga.

The staff at this office ( Piedmont Orthopedics of Atlanta) is incredible, efficient and personable. Always interested in you as the patient. Dr Kasow whom I see is personable and explores all treatments that best suits the patient. Listens with his heart. It’s a busy office and you may have to wait but it is well worth it! You can trust that you a loved one is in good hands!

Very pleasant, asked if I had any questions for him. He was very detailed about the surgery and did not rush through his explanation of what he thought, why and how it would be done
I would like a doctor who do s not have his patients wait in a room with the door closed. However, I have yet to find one
I will continue with Dr Brian Kasow , who knows maybe he will come in sooner .
