  Older facilities, could use some TLC. However, considering the state budget problems the past few years, they have done a great job. We have spent many weeks here for the past 6 years and the Park Rangers and the Camp Hosts in the office have been fantastic. We even met the head guy (Saki Villalobos) and were treated to an oral history of the North and South Parks. Awesome!

  We had a great stay! Very friendly staff! Scenic views! Convenient location! Highly recommended.

  Nice place, we camped. Limited number of reserved spots, but lots of first come first served, except on big holidays you probably can get a spot before noon. Staff appears to have been instructed not to give that information on phone, so people can't complain if all are gone Beach is nice, stores nearby. Bring lots of insect repellent.

  ????????✔️????????????????????????️????????????This is a great place to chill and look at wildlife. Deer at the tree lines, fish swimming in the ponds, coyote, possum, skunks, raccoons, every sort of bird life you can imagine, deer are friendly and tame will eat out of your hand. ????????????????????Water is clean, good spot for swimming.

  Tent camping in November sounds crazy, but we had a blast! Friendly people, friendly atmosphere and very accommodating! There's a store there owned by a gentleman named George and he operates on an honor system! That alone made my experience all the better! We gave back what we didn't use. Feels good to have people like him still around! Thank you George!
