  This state park along Lake Michigan has wonderful natural dunes. There are also woods, wetlands, and a great assortment of birds, animals, and plant species. Unfortunately, a large part of the beach has been lost to erosion, but there are still sandy stretches on which to sunbathe. The park also has a resort hotel made of awesome native stone - there's a big pool and massage is available too, and the brunch is excellent. There's also a gazebo behind the resort that makes a lovely wedding area.

  Very nice, lots of trails, bring mosquito repellent.

  The place has seen better days as you can see from some abandoned structures and decaying parking lots. If you are looking for a nice walk, this place will do.

  So beautiful and very large area! Nature at it's finest! There is about 5 trails, if you prefer the beach or the land. I seen a family of deer my very first time there! I was fortunate enough to move right on the other side of this place so I can see it from my backyard too! Being in it though is awe inspiring, you feel so small being surrounded by nature everywhere you look.
