Gray Haven Motel

We haven't been here long just a few weeks but haven't had any problems. We have heard there were problems in the past. But it's under new management and they are really nice ppl who always ask if we need anything and literally we watch them work from early morning until late at night all week and through the weekends remodeling rooms, cleaning and taking care of the property. I think with time this place is gonna be completely turned around keep up the good work!!!! There is a big back yard that I had no idea was there but it's really nice and peaceful. The rooms really are almost sound proof too I was expecting thin walls but we never hear our neighbors. Everyone seems to get along well and help each other out. Very nice people.

I stayed in room 19.

Pros: Cozy, clean, bed's comfy, you get what you pay for, the fridge works, the staff is nice and understanding.

Cons: I saw one bug but I quickly dealt with it so no harm there and the tub is clogged with something so it filled up with water when I took a shower but it drained quickly after I got it.

NOTICE: I told one of the faculty members about the bug and she said that she hires an exterminator every two weeks to spray the rooms and they make sure to not have any bugs in any of the rooms. As for the tub, it's just old. As long as the water drained, I was happy.

Conclusion: I liked the place. I'll stay again when I'm back in town.

Love the staff! They were very accommodating and did their best to make my stay comfortable. This was a good inexpensive no-frills place to crash for a few weeks while I was working in the area. A refrigerator and microwave were in my room and it was clean. They are in the process of updating some rooms.
