  We were very fortunate to find Hume by chance as he responded immediately to our online request to view a house by calling us. We moved to the area from out of state and Hume was simply tremendous throughout the process. As first time home buyers, we had a lot of questions. Hume is patient, responsive, and thorough. He is a hard worker and someone that you can trust. Hume went way above and beyond what could normally be expected from an agent. In our case, Hume helped us find a home, negotiate for it with some challenging sellers, and walk us through the entire process through closing, all of which occurred in less than a month. I strongly recommend Hume to anyone looking for a real estate agent.

  Google asked me to describe my experience, and all I can say was that it was excellent. I am so happy to have bought a house. Hume's knowledge and diligent work makes it easy for me to recommend him to others.

  Hume assisted me with both selling my old condo and buying my new home. He had worked with me for over a year with my general questions and concerns with making a move and really empowered me to strike when I felt the market with prime for me. We were able to move quickly through the whole process, and as soon as we received an offer, we were able to enter into negotiations for the new home and get everything sorted and closed without needing a double move. He also went above and beyond and helped me recover an escrow that I had assumed would be impossible to sort out.

  Hume is an excellent hard working agent. He is a long time resident of the area and extremely knowledgeable about the various towns/developments in the Baltimore area (resale/rental markets, schools, vibe, retail, builders, traffic, etc) as well as all of the details associated with the purchase process. He really listens to what you want and helps you evaluate your list after each viewing. Hume went out of his way to be available for 3 days straight to accommodate my and my husband’s crazy travel schedules. He truly wants to help you find the right home for you. Even after closing Hume has been extremely responsive to emails. Hume was invaluable throughout the purchase process. When it comes time to sell our home and or purchase a new one, we will seek him out again.

  I've known Hume for 26 years and have several friends that are real estate agents but ultimately chose him because I know how hard he works, the effort he puts forth, and his trustworthiness which was very important to me. I bought my first house 4 years ago and could not have been more pleased with how easy he made the process. I sold that house just 2 years later and based on the advice Hume gave me to get it ready for sale, we had a for profit full price offer on day 1 of it being on the market that I used to purchase my second house just this past summer in a dream location. His knowledge of the market and use of available resources made all parts of the home buying process super simple. Hume will definitely be my realtor for future purchases and I recommend him to all of my co-workers, family, friends and to anyone searching for a realtor who will work for you.
