(September 7, 2018, 1:21 pm)Great place for family friendly outdoor activities. The C&O Canal tow path is great for hiking, walking, running or biking on the well maintained tow path. Fishermen can enjoy quick and easy access to the C&O Canal at Cuswha Basin and either Conococheague or Potomac Rivers.

Williamsport is the only place on the canal where examples of major canal structures can be viewed within a half-mile stretch.
