I can say without doubt this veterinarian over all others truly cares about animals. They saved my cat's life. It wasn't anything particularly special that they had to do except be the only Veterinary Hospital within 50 miles of my house that cared more about my cats life than profits wait times, or having to stay late at work for another 15 minutes. I don't know what value Pico Fabi is referring to, personally I found great value. I guess everyone has to ask themselves how much is my pet's health worth? What I do know is my cat had a fatal infection but I could not get an appointment with any vet sooner than over 2 weeks away. As the days passed I watched as my cat began to fade away. Desperate, I called every Veterinary Clinic, Hospital, and Emergency Center I could find. None of them would see my pet, regardless of the dire circumstances I was in. Every single one of them said they were either not taking new patients or were too busy to see my cat anytime soon. I heard the same sickening excuse over and over again, that if they accepted any additional animals on a triage level that wait times for myself and other people would be too long. They did not care about an animal's life at all, only how long someone had to wait to for an appointment so they can keep that human happy and get a good review. Even when I pressed and ask them a question, "so you're telling me that an infection is a death sentence for my cat?". To my amazement they all responded "yes, I'm sorry" then recommended me to another veterinarian that they believed had time. All of this sounds unbelievable but it is all true. I repeated the process almost 30 times. I finally ran across Pets Ahoy. Pets Ahoy was just as busy as every other Veterinarian, except they made an appointment for the next day. And that is how they saved my cat's life, by caring enough about it to make time to save it. Pets Ahoy is a single Veterinary Animal Hospital, and they made time when they had no time while other practices with several veterinarians on staff refused to save my dying cat. So if you're looking for a veterinarian that you can trust, I can assure you from personal experience that this is the only one in Macomb and Oakland counties that truly cares about your animal. I would like to thank everyone from Pets Ahoy for taking the time that no one else would to save the life of my dying cat. She is completely healed now and back to her old self again.

This place is amazing! Wonderful people who don't just see a price tag walking through the door. They really truly care about not only the animals they treat but the people who love them as well. They saved my son's beloved pet rat and we're willing to work on making it affordable. They even called the next day during a power outage for them to check the well being of the patient. We love this vet.

Took our pet rabbit for a checkup prior to neutering. The wait time was very short, and the staff was very friendly and professional. The doctor had some good info and tips for us. We were very happy with the experience.

My English Mastiff had a swollen toe and
Digestive issues. Pets Ahoy got him in the next day and took wonderful care of him.

For the past 8 months I’ve been searching for a reliable, dependable vet and my experience exceeded all expectations.
