(April 13, 2022, 12:16 pm)After 10 years having my Segway, the back battery died. It was purchased in downtown Chicago and I didn't want to bring it there for new batteries. After looking online, I found Great Lakes Segway and I couldn't be more happy that I did! Jody was so helpful and informative about all my questions.
They shipped me 2 new batteries (which I put on by myself!) I received them in 2 days and they included all the return labels needed to ship back my old batteries, and Jody arranged for the pick up with UPS. It couldn't have been easier!
I even got a $250 refund for the front battery because it was still good!
I very highly recommend Great Lakes Segway for any of your Segway needs!! 10 stars!! -

(September 28, 2021, 4:10 pm)It’s September 28, 2021, and I have only had my 2016 X2 a short time, but so far, I’m very pleased with it. The owner and staff of Great Lanes Segway are doing a great job at answering my questions when they come up, and they want me to be satisfied with my purchase.
My X2 is nothing like any other, I’m turning it into one of the most unique Segway’s on the planet. I highly recommend getting your refurbished Segway from this company! -
