Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West, an IHG Hotel

Was here for a convention and the staff was amazing.
Rooms were clean and comfortable, which no concerns as to size or smell. Beds were also comfortable, though the pillows were too squishy. This wasn't a problem for me as I brought my own.
Breakfast was excellent and all the catered food was done very well. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating to some odd requests.
I'd recommend staying at this hotel!

This hotel is one of the most unique layouts I've ever been in. While the location is scenic, it isn't exactly easy to get to and that makes me kind of wish fewer Twin Cities conventions used it.

However, the staff has always done their best when I've contacted them and they respond promptly as they can, even with whatever staff shortages they might be having.

The walls in some of the rooms are THIN and some guests aren't great about being quiet on the quiet parts of the floor. Some times I've stayed there have been slight cleanliness issues, but nothing major.

Overall, a solid place.

We went to eat at the restaurant on Wednesday and had an amazing time due to the bartender/waitress/server (she was working many jobs all by herself)! The food wasn't the best, but we were told it was the cook's 1st day so that did not bother us and it wasn't that the food wasn't good it was just missing some ingredients. The bartender/waitress/server was absolutely fantastic (Christina-shorter woman w/brown hair)! I couldn't believe all the multi-tasking she was doing and still able to keep her customers happy. She was very friendly and had a smile on her face the entire time. We will definitely be back just because of the service! Thank you Christina!

They had a lot of what we needed to survive the convention we were attending. Beds were very comfortable. Showers had great pressure and temperature. Complementary coffee carried us through the weekend. Helpful staff at all hours. Would attend and stay here again.
