I ordered a set of ski bindings; I was told they would ship within a week. A month passed, no word. I tried calling multiple times, they hung up on me after 20 minutes on hold each time. I emailed, no response for literally 3 months. And that response was to inform me that the bindings were out of stock. Mostly frustrated with the lack of communication here- I always understand if it takes longer to ship, it’s just nice to know the status of the order.

Edit: change from one star to five. I had the above scenario happen to me. After leaving the review, William from The House reached out wondering if he could help in any way. I had previously gotten myself ski bindings elsewhere so I didn’t need anything. However he sent me a VERY generous gift card to redeem at The House. They managed the problem very well and made sure to change my mind about them! Excited to purchase something with the gift card! Thanks again!

Edit 2: I ordered Marmot Featherless Hoody Jacket a couple weeks ago. I since received a promotional email about a sale on that jacket (with a lower price). I reached out to William to inquire about any chance of me getting the newer, cheaper price. He VERY promptly got back to me, offering me the lower price. Seriously so unexpected but appreciated.

Also, the jacket that I ordered literally arrived in two days!! I was shocked and impressed!

I love shopping here. Staff is super knowledgeable and friendly and they just have great products at prices that seem better than anywhere else I look. Noah was a rock star today; he knew every single thing I wanted to know about mountain biking and he made sure that I walked away with exactly the bike that I wanted.

TABITHA IN CUSTOMER SERVICE GETS 5 STARS!!

The company needs a lot of work but Tabitha handled the situation well and was super great about it. The company shipped me the wrong product and the return has yet to be processed and it’s been delivered to them for two weeks according to fedex. Tabitha was super helpful through the whole process and expedited the return for me. She even got me a discount on a different product.

The House needs work but TABITHA is a huge asset and they are lucky to have her. She’s the only reason they didn’t get less stars

Their was a glitch on the web site and it locked me in/ no edit button / two of the same Item’s were on order .And now I was locked out from my Debit Card while on vacation do to possible fraudulence ! .I called The House and they were able to fix the issue the very next morning over the phone . Days later Fed Ex delivers the Item 8 houses down with the package opened on both sides and was left /5hrs in 100 degree weather in the desert.. I was beyond lucky to find the item by accident through a friend walking his dog and new the rare shape of packaging . Even, though a company is not responsible for an irresponsible , incompetent delivery. The Customer service representative named Tabitha well documented everything and in the utmost respectful tone of voice and compassion . If it was not for her consideration and understanding / professionalism
I was never going to trust this company again... Fed Ex clearly needs new management and could take a few lessons from The House .
