Marais Temps Clair Conservation Area

  A great place to visit from March through August. Waterfowl hunting begins in September, followed by closure as a refuge.
  Miles of wide gravel levee roads allow viewing of birds, reptiles, and other wetland life forms.
  The only restroom is a portable one in the south parking lot.

  It's a beautiful natural place with lots of wildlife. Someplace to sit, get water or use the restroom would be nice but that is not really the places primary function. The birds are beautiful. The trails are broad, flat, and well maintained. Looks like a good place to fish.

  Wonderful place to take in wildlife particularly waterfowl. Nice road trail to walk or bike. Very peaceful here.

  Came out for a few hours of dove hunting today and they're running a no draw system for the hunts this year. Forms are in the box by the main office. Hunting was slow today but it's a great place to go, and seriously I love Missouri's department of conservation. Looking forward to some teal hunts soon.
