Very clean and well kept State Park. Trails are nice, visitors center is clean and up to date, camp sites are nice. Nothing jaw dropping, but certainly one of the nicer campgrounds in the area.
Nice park. The campground has been peaceful. The trails are fun. The showers are hot. Hosts are nice.
A Great place to camp!! Quite with lots of trees. Very spacious camp sites
Not full hook ups...electric. water is available though out the camp grounds. There is also a dump station behind the main bathroom & shower house. There is ice & firewood for sale. There is a playground for the little campers. There is a nice trail to hike.
This is one place we will come back too.
I use this park mostly for photography. Always pretty. Well maintained. A few old wooden bridges over the creeks, an older building, even some of the shelters, make for some good photo spots. Oh, and the concrete bridge! Great picnic areas. Good little nature drive in the evening to see the deer out and about.
This is more appropriate for a RV but we camped with our tent to get the outdoor camping experience and it served that purpose. We were lucky to get a spot that our text was able to fit in. The only draw backs were the space was very small and campsites very close to one another. It was hard to get some privacy and you can hear the people around you very clearly. Also, there wasn't much to do other than hiking so a short stay was in order. The camp hosts were great though and extremely helpful and the trails are long. The bathrooms were clean and everyone was friendly.
