It was really nice area. To many pot heads for my taste. I like to run at night when it is quite but these creepy pot heads drive up and down smoking.
Perfect place for a 10 minute hike or a 4 hour hike. The main trail is easy, even to the point a good wheel chair might be able to get up it, then there's some more small trails that lead all over the mountain. Good look out point if you can hike for 30mins-1hr to one of the points!
Paths are easy to follow. But please be careful with young and elderly there as the path is rocky and can be dangerous for those not using caution. Great views in the day time and, if you're lucky enough, you might spot some creatures among the rocks. Be careful of the more dangerous creatures such as snakes and scorpions though. I haven't seen any yet, but that doesn't mean they aren't out there.
The experience is nice it's Pleasant to walk your dog and it's most definitely Pleasant to capture the view and maybe even meet a new friend. I would definitely recommend doing this during the winter time here or transition into spring. summers can be a bit dreadful with the heat and possible rattlesnake encounter. Although, rather enjoyable and enjoyable for the expert or amateur hiker. Pack light and bring snacks and plenty of water in your camel pack and bring your favorite camera. 4 out of 5 for view. 3.5 for safety do to the harsh desert climate during summers, but still very Beautiful.
This is such an amazing trail, even for kids. Love hiking here. Very clean and open. I definitely recommend doing this trail.
