Beautiful ponds and birds. Beach is wide and clean. Views forever. Looking forward to going back in the summer. The lighthouse and visitors center was interesting and the nature paths we're beautiful.
I came here with my children to see the lighthouse and found the whole park worth checking out. There are a few miles of wetland boardwalks for hiking through the marsh. There’s a nice little museum with some live reptiles and information on the area. There are plenty of places for watching birds. The beach has a WWII bunker.
This is extremely adequate for what it is. This is a State Park so enforcement of the rules are firm but it is very spacious tables and verandas. There is a small nature center with live critters and restrooms. The beach is large but no swimming allowed. They also have long boardwalks for birders but no food, but the Cape May Lobster House is not far away. And of course the Lighthouse itself.
We went in February so it was very old, but it was still beautiful! I loved watching the waves and listening to them. The gift shop we visited was also really great. They had a large variety of items and everyone found something fun to take home.
Loved this place. We walked the trails and the beach. The trails are absolutely beautiful and so is the beach. The museum is a small, cute, educational building that we really enjoyed. They have quite a few different little critters you can see and learn about. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful. Be sure to check out the light house!
