Beautiful and historic. A quaint beach, a gift shop, and eaterie. Serene in the Winter months and cool in the Summer. A must see.
So much fun and romantic place.
The only beach we go to....Love it! It's a tradition now... We happened to stay for the flag ceremony @ around (7pm?) and stayed for the sun set.... That particular day I got some great shots of the dolphins. I love it here and the shop has some awesome items, and they also have a place to get food...
Also, don't come here if your into waves, nothing like OC, WW, etc... Another plus.... Also you can fish as well... And don't forget to look for CM diamonds!
It was amazing. We searched for sea glass. The sea glass we found was put into a charm to make bracelets. Family friendly. Historical sites.
Been going here for 50 plus years and have been watching the concrete ship slowly deteriorate all that time. A small but beautiful beach will accommodate swimmers and sunbathers alike. This is the place to look for Cape May diamonds. The beach here is pretty clean too. There is one jetty here too that people like to fish from. There is a large gift shop that sells all kinds of goods including some very reasonably priced Tee Shirts and hoodies. There is also a small restaurant that serves very good food. The only drawback to this area is that parking is very limited. Within walking distance, there is a WWII observation tower that you can visit and climb for a small fee. There is a lot more to see and do within a 5 minute drive from here too, including the lighthouse, the concrete bunker and some of the best birdwatching in the country. The particular area that I have reviewed here is known locally as Sunset Beach but is considered part of Capemay Point.
