Nice and family park
It is popular for canoeing, jogging, hiking, bicycling, fishing, horseback riding. The canal and towpath are part of national recreational trail system. Most of the canal system remains intact. The park provides Carry-In/Carry-Out Program, you can carry out the trash you carry in. The sites offer the bags, but bringing your own bags is recommended. The towpath and recreational facilities are partially accessible for persons with disabilities.
The northern, New Brunswick terminus of the D&R Canal Trail. A strip of serenity in the center of the second most populous county in the densest populated state in the country.
This is a nice trail to follow not to busy, clean. People are friendly when you do see them.
Beautiful nature trail that is 35 miles long, winding along the Raritan river from New Brunswick to Trenton.
