I don’t even know where to begin with this review. My 8 year old German shepherd, Sandy, was throwing up all night and in the morning. She was also lethargic and wasn’t eating. I had called 3 different vets that told me we should take her to an emergency vet and recommended Eclipse. We usually go to Newton emergency vet but after hearing one of the vets tell me Newton wasn’t the best and was turning away pets, I knew we shouldn’t take her. I brought her to the office and they got to me immediate. They had two techs help put Sandy on a gurney and brought her inside. On the way in, one of the techs told me I should fill out what’s basically a pet advanced directed, saying if I wanted CPR or not should she go into cardiac arrest. This immediately sent into into hysterics because of the situation my dog was in. They ended up having to do CPR on her and the doctor kept me updated the entire time rather than sending one of the techs in to give me status reports. Unfortunately we had to let Sandy go because of ‘bloat’ which is an awful condition for a pet to get. But the staff was extremely empathetic and I couldn’t have asked for a better team taking care of my baby. Definitely going to choose this office if I ever need emergency pet care again. Thank you to everyone who took care of our Sandy today. You kept her alive long enough for my family to get there and say goodbye, even with under the most difficult circumstances.
We were in New Jersey visiting family when our 3 Year old Pyrador became violently ill. We first went to another 24 hour veterinary hospital and were told it would be a minimum 6 hour wait to be seen. We were referred to Eclipse and drove there immediately. They took our dog back immediately to be triaged and evaluated. We could not be happier with their professionalism, service provided, and care our dog received. Thank you so much Eclipse!
I can’t speak highly enough about the team at Eclipse. I started with them early June when my 12 year old dog (she’s a very small dog) began to lose her ability to walk. Most likely causes were 1. A degenerative spinal disease which would leave her paralyzed (potentially quickly at the rate things were moving) 2. A tumor on her spine which is as bad as it sounds and would probably result in putting her to sleep or 3. A herniated disk, which would require a serious surgery, especially on an older dog.
Test results showed that her spine was a mess but they were able to isolate the most likely spot and performs the surgery. She just had her 2 week checkup and she’s doing amazingly well. A few days after surgery she was up and walking with only a slight wobble which will continue to improve.
Eclipse was amazing. They were wonderful handling her (she’s little but energetic - the techs would carry her around in a Joey sack around their shoulders.), she’s hairless and the scar is barely perceptible. They were in constant contact with me every step of the way.
I can’t recommend them highly enough. I don’t think you will find better in the state.
This cute monkey decided to eat a corn cob today and we visited Eclipse for an emergency. Staff is kind, caring, warm and friendly. Beautiful new office. My new GO TO Emergency Vet. Thank you Eclipse!
