Derby Pediatrics

We love Dr. Mulawka and the entire staff. We have been seeing him since my oldest was a baby and now she is almost 11. My 8 year old loves coming to see Dr. Mulawka and he has always been so patient and caring with all 3 of my kiddos. My favorite thing about this office is you are not just a number to them, I'm sure they see multiple patients but they have always known my children the second they walk in the door before we even check in! I love that the entire feel of the place is very welcoming and my kids are not afraid of going to the doctors. When I tell them they have a doctor appointment they get excited! As a parent that means everything!!

We absolutely love Dr. Mulawka and his staff. He always listens to us as parents when we have a concern. Our son is a cancer survivor and it is a blessing to have a pediatrician that cares and listens. A year ago, our son was having medical issues. We suspected an autoimmune issue. We were blown off by his oncologist. Dr. Mulawka listened and got the testing necessary to investigate autoimmune issues. Sure enough those tests came back positive and got us into a rheumatologist. My son was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease. It would have taken us months to get a diagnosis without Dr. Mulawka. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I always have had a great experience when I go into the derby office! The receptionist is always friendly && helpful. Every time I have needed forms filled out or needed something it is always done in a timely manner. The nurses are great, always checking up after calling the answering service to how my son is doing. All the providers in the office have always been great with my son. I would recommend this practice to any expecting momma or someone looking for a new doctor!

I have been taking my daughter here ever since she was born and I have never had an issue. When I go in they make me feel welcome. They are excellent with my daughter, always making her smile, they seem excited to see her and excited to do their job and have been very understanding when you cancel your appointment last minute. Or when they know you have a hard time with transportation. Everyone I have dealt with at the office has been a very kid friendly. My daughters doctor is Dr. Malacca (not sure if this is the right spelling) (sorry) but even when he does not see my daughter there is no issues with anyone else that would help out as a replacement if he is not working or unavailable or something. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks where to go. And me and my daughter will keep going back as long as we are welcome to or as long as I live somewhere within an hour away drive time.

I have been taking my children to Derby pediatrics for the last 5 years and I have nothing but great things to say about them. When my children are sick they get me in for an appointment that day or the next day and are always kind and caring. Any questions I have are answered and if the answer can't be obtained they are found by the doctors or practitioners that work with Dr Mulwaka. And the office staff has never been anything but nice. I feel lucky to have the Derby pediatrics right by my house as I receive such great service from them.
