Devil's Hole State Park

Very underrated hiking spot in WNY. The views of the river and trail are awesome. Be prepared to face a steep descent down to water. Most importantly be prepared to climb back up :)
Highly recommend visiting during the fall foliage season.

Excellent hike, provides a variety of experiences for all fitness levels. If you're looking for a casual stroll, stay on the top level and enjoy the gorgeous views. If you're the adventurous type, head down the stairs and enjoy the raging river. There are plenty of rocks to scramble over and beautiful vistas all around.

Very cool spot. Give or take 320 stairs to get down to the bottom. If you decide to take the plunge just know you’ll be rewarded with a fantastic view of the River, and there are some spots you can actually reach the river. Amazing views and an overall unique experience.

You can enjoy the path. It's adventurous when you climb and walk along the hillside. After the devil's hole,continuing on the main trail we can visit a beautiful scenic place. I have added the photos. Check them out and enjoy your trip.

Such a cool place to walk around. Walked from Devils Hole to Whirlpool State park on the trail near the water. The trail starts with lots of stairs so be ready for that.. The trail also has portions directly on a sheer cliff, so make sure pets and children are closely monitored if you decide to bring them because there is possibility for injury. It was beautiful though. The water was brilliantly blue and the large fallen rocks were cool to see.
