I grew up in this neighborhood and as a kid it was my favorite swimming and fishing hole. The park is very nice as pointed out, nice ball diamonds, trails and equipment but the reservoir really is the main attraction for me. I don't know if they allow it any more but when I was an older kid, I used to routinely run around the reservoir. As I recall it is about a 6 mile jog, it's flat, and it's a wonderful and peaceful place to commune. I give it five out of five stars.
Great place to walk your dog on a nice day or with friends out for a jog... This park even has various exercise equipment machines placed along a main trail if just walking or jogging isn't enough of a workout to get your body going. The scenery is beautiful, and the nature all around you is revitalizing and transcending! After such a long winter it's good to finally get out!!
Fun Ive only played basketball there the rims aren't too bad there doubled but its fine
Fun for all you can play or work out they have exercise equipment there for the adults and a playground for the kids
I really enjoy the 1.25 perimeter trail for running. It’s almost entirely flat with just enough variation to keep it interesting for 5 miles. A spur trail takes a route over to Niagara University. Not heavily used, but there are always enough people to feel safe.
It is a man made wonder. You just have to go there and see it for yourself. Be prepared to hike up hill like crazy to see the main attraction. Like Nike just do it .
