  You can't beat this. One of a kind. Snapping turtles nest in the embankments. Apple orchards, rose gardens, a view of West Point. Read Little Chapel on the Hudson.

  Went to see my grandsons play in RIP Van Winkle,and it was set at Boscobel.What a beautiful setting.We had a picnic outside,and then the play was under a tent.I used to live in New York,and didn't know about Boscobel. It's a magical place!I I think it would be nice for a wedding ceremony

  Beautiful grounds and an awesome theatre space! We went to see The Heart of Robin Hood at the theatre on the grounds. The picnicking beforehand have us plenty of time to enjoy the view and the grounds themselves were immaculate.
  
  Parking is a walk away from the main area, but there are bricked walkways all over.

  The ground themselves are beautiful culminating with the view of the Hudson River and the swampy looking areas off the Hudson accessible mostly by kayak. My wife had been to the house as she likes to see these large old luxurious houses, but I don't believe there is anything spectacular here in the house.
  
  come to the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival held on the grounds in July in August as an excuse to come. You can picnic on the grounds and see Shakespeare out Under the Tent.

  LOVE the Shakespeare Festival plays... Classics put on in unique ways in an amazing environment by truly talented artists! We go every year at least once and enjoy a picnic on the beautiful grounds beforehand. I always highly recommend them to all of my friends and family!
