Hope my words can describe all the goodness!!! The place is fantastic! Cozy, clean, refreshing, beautiful- you list the words! I had a chance to speak with Lyn, the owner and she was amazing and showed me around and the wedding venue which is amazing! Someone please get married here and invite me. I would recommend this place 200%. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
If anyone is interested in glamping then please check out this place. We were there this weekend and had the most amazing time on a very beautifully located property and Andy are the most amazing hosts. The yurts, bathrooms and showers were all very clean. Most amazing beautiful place. There were paddle boats and kayaks which kept the kids busy. Must visit. Will definitely be going back next year.
An experience like none other! We just came back today after spending six nights in our yurt at Andelyn Farm. First, Lyn and Andy were very warm and welcoming when we arrived - it was obvious the amount of hard work, love, and dedication they put into their home and land every day. This serene property is over 100 acres and encompasses beautiful trails and rolling hills with spectacular views.
The yurt was gorgeous and very neat and clean with its own basic amenities like a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, grill, etc. It was the perfect size for us with our kids and dog. The country charm was inherently beautiful, and perfectly complimented the relaxing atmosphere. I can't say enough about how clean the bathrooms and showers were. I was so impressed with how spotless they were maintained.
I usually wake up quite a bit at night when I am home, but the very first night we stayed there I slept the entire night and woke up feeling great and well rested! Staying at Andelyn Farm was truly cathartic for all of us. Lyn and Andy are very genuine and kind, which made it so comfortable to talk to them. We felt as if we were part of their family. Thank you so much for everything and we will definitely be back next year!
I recently returned from a 2 night visit to Andelyn Farm- what a treat! It's a lovely setting next to an old mill, with so much wildlife to enjoy. My yurt was spotless and beautifully decorated. The hosts have thought of every little touch to make your stay special and memorable.
I enjoyed a paddle on the millpond my first evening, which was so relaxing. I saw beavers at work on their dam; there were belted kingfishers, waxwings and many other birds to observe as well.
I chose Andelyn Farm as my base for kayaking on nearby Lake St. Catherine, and I'm so glad I did. The peaceful, natural setting was just what I had hoped for. I will definitely be back!
We went here to stay in the Bumble Bee yurt for the weekend. The property is unbelievably beautiful. You are free to roam around as you please. There's trails and old buildings to find and a pond you can take kayaks or peddle boats on. It feels completely isolated and just "safe", like you're in your own little world out there. It is a good place to recharge and disconnect. Can't recommend it enough. Will be going back.
