(October 19, 2022, 6:17 pm)Passing though on our way to the beach and we didn't want to stop at a chain restaurant. Sherry's Family Restaurant was a great choice! Wonderful staff and service. Even the customers were incredibly pleasant and nice. Very welcoming to us and our two small children. And the food, it was great! Fresh flounder and never frozen burger! Perfect example of Southern hospitality.

(April 7, 2021, 10:45 am)We ate at Sherry’s Family Restaurant in Star,NC. It was obvious this is a favorite eating place in the community. Our visit was made very special by Cindy, our waitress. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and like a member of the community. She was very friendly and efficient. Our food was delicious. I ordered a vegetable omelette and my two friends ordered hamburgers. They ordered the Big D and it was big!!! Lol Our food came out in a timely manner,was hot, and made to our specifications! I would recommend you try Sherry’s Family Restaurant if you are ever in Star, NC!!😃
