This was a great first experience with me. I'm I'm follower of the Lord. I was u sure about the book of Mormon. I prayed and asked God to let me know if this was acceptable to him, for I did not want to read or go to a place he did not approve. He gave me a warm feeling and no longer a feeling of doubting these people. They were all very warm, accepting, happy people that follow Jesus.
It was a great experience. I will be going back this Sunday to their church.
Even though they believe the Sabbath is a Sunday, which after looking into the Bible and fi ding that Fri sundown to Sat sundown is actually the 7th day of the week "Sabbath". Sunday is the first day of the week.
That is not for me to push on a people that IS devoted to the Lord. They do have the holy spirit with them.
Maybe the good Lord placed me there to help become aware that their Sunday practice is false in being the Sabbath. Or maybe not. It so for the Lord to guide me, not for my own understanding.
Glory be to our amazing King of Kings
Great new park but could be cleaned more often.......
I moved to the Eden church congregation from Colorado this past June and I have felt so welcomed by the members that it seems as if I've known them all my life. I love it! One of the things I enjoy most about this church is that service is volunteered and considered a calling from the Lord by all the members, so nothing monetary is involved. I am a musician, so I play the organ when asked, direct the congregation in singing hymns each Sunday and play the piano for the children's group and it is so much more satisfying knowing that I am serving the Lord than receiving money for using my talents.
This is the place to increase your relationship with Jesus Christ and to follow Him through the opportunities to study Him and to worship with and serve with others. You won't find greater knowledge and understanding of Jesus Christ than here. I've been going to this church for almost five years now. When I first moved here, I was previously moving every two years and was looking forward to sticking around for a while and getting to know people in a longer term way and am happy to have that here. Makes it easier to focus on the Lord Jesus Christ when you have good examples of disciples around you.
Great place too play there’s not too many kids but not to little kids I went there with my brother and it was a cool place to go just wish there was a garbage and recycling bin there.
I love the community and belonging that come with being a part of this congregation. I have been attending this location with my family for over two years now, and the peace I feel during Sunday worship is very important in my life.
They did an awesome job, and still are doing an awesome job, of navigating through COVID. They held Sunday services via Zoom when we weren’t allowed to meet in person, and have taken measures to make sure everyone feels safe now that we’re meeting back at the church building.
My family recently started attending this congregation. Everyone has been kind and gracious. The Sunday sermons are heartfelt and I leave feeling inspired to try and be a better person throughout the week. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to worship Jesus Christ, I'd definitely give this church a try.
Quiet in the suburbs. Good (short) walking trail. A nice playground. Minimal parking.
