This was my first visit to a dentist since retiring as a dentist myself after 28 years of practice and relocating to North Carolina. I was impressed with Dr. Chelury and the exceptional dental team she has established! Donna welcomed me to the office with a friendly reception. Lou, the dental hygienist, performed a detailed probing of my gums and noted possible areas of early periodontal disease, and then provided a comfortable cleaning and fluoride treatment. Pooja, who assisted, is not just your average dental assistant. She is a certified dental assistant who has passed the Dental Assistant National Board Exam. Most dental assistants do not invest the time and effort into gaining this level of expertise and proficiency. This is worth noting because the skill of the dental assistant can aid substantially in the outcome of any procedure a dentist performs. Dr. Chelury was professional, gentle, and spot on with her diagnosis of areas of concern. Her oral evaluation was so thorough that she was able to detect a scar on the far back side of my tongue that I wasn’t aware of. I am looking forward to returning to Amberly Family Dentistry in six more months for another great experience!

Dr Chelury and all of her dental staff are amazing! I was referred to this practice for the treatment of sleep apnea. (This practice is a preferred provider with state BC/BS Insurance, one of very few.) Navigating insurance for sleep apnea can be complicated and exhausting. I am so thankful to Dr Chelury and her staff for being so persistent and dedicated, going above and beyond to get all of the necessary approvals. Dr Chelury made numerous phone calls on my behalf, and the dental appliance is both comfortable, and effective! I would encourage others to explore this avenue as a treatment alternative. I am eternally grateful.

We have been coming here for at least 10 years, our whole family including two kids. They have always been warm, and given us excellent service. Dr Meena Chelury and her staff are wonderful. We will continue coming to this office in the future as well. 😍
