Shining Stars Pediatric Therapy Services

My 3.5 year old son sees Laura and Julie. We go three times a week. My son loves both Laura and Julie! We have definitely noticed some improvement in my son's feeding and speech. My 2 year old son loves the books and chairs they have in the waiting room - he typically turns the chairs into a train 🤦 The staff is always sweet and very patient with my hooligans.

How can I start this review, we have been with Dawn, Julie, Ellen and the team at Shining Stars for a little under 5 years!! My son was evaluated with the CDSA, who started him in Play Therapy with Ellen at age 2. Ellen started noticing red flags and called in a favor with Dawn and Dawn evaluated him, and that's the beginning. Julie has been my son's OT since the beginning and she is absolutely fabulous. When he needed help with feeding, she helped. When he had meltdowns, she walked me through them. She has saved us so many "headaches." We also seen Laura for about 18 months, and her and Julie work fabulous together. Laura is an amazing speech/feeding therapist.

The administration staff are truly one of a kind. They want to help you. They want to see your kid excel. And Dawn has done a GREAT service to the Fuquay and surrounding areas with this practice. If you are on a waiting list, or looking for somewhere to go, please give them a shot. Its worth the wait!!!

We have been going here for several years, the specialized attention our child receives is fantastic. The therapy adapts and changes as our child grows out of behaviors, and they are flexible and knowledgeable when new behaviors pop up. I drive a distance to come here and can’t recommend them enough for the help they’ve given our family. I also love that there are many different therapists to work with, lots of chances to find the perfect fit for your child.

My daughter has been going to Shining Stars for over 8 months now. She has been in both OT and PT. I have been so pleased with the level of care and attention my daughter has received. Jenna has been an awesome therapist. My daughter gets so excited to go see her every Thursday, which makes me so happy. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking pediactric therapy. They've definitely exceeded my expectations. They are truly giving my daughter a better future one week at a time.

I have two sons that have been going to Shining Stars for almost two years. All the therapist are all so friendly. And Occupational therapist Dawn Vannatta has helped to get my oldest son to graduated from the occupational therapy program. She is will to work with us when a scheduling issue happens . I also love how hands on the therapist are with my children. I can watch my boys in the gym while they are in therapy. My boys love the gym! I also love how the owner Dawn Solomon and her family make it a point to greet my boys and me and to generally care about are well being . Thanks Shining Stars for helping my boys they love coming to therapy!
