Wood Wise Design & Remodeling

We first reached out to Woodwise to get an idea of what we should expect from a renovation. Becky answered the phone and couldn’t have been more warm or kind. We had Becky and Hank come out to explain the design build process and again, we were comforted by their kindness. Going into a major renovation, knowing you’re in good hands is of utmost importance. We needed to feel that we could trust our home in their hands and my goodness did they deliver. We started the design process with Kathy and made our choices with her. She is top notch in her industry. If you aren’t working with an architect like Kathy, you’re missing out. She was always willing to answer our (many) questions and the responsiveness has been unmatched.

Once things got rolling, I can’t express what a fun project this was. Did I just say “fun” when describing a renovation that takes out a kitchen, laundry area, and bathroom?! The crew who is doing the hard work every day is phenomenal and to be honest, I miss them! They got to know our children, they ALWAYS showed up with good attitudes, they always answered our questions, and listen - they cleaned up after every work day. Our kitchen was bare, our laundry room was taken down to the studs, and it was clear and clean every day.

Overall, our project went better than we could have imagined. If there was something onsite that we wanted to tweak, or add (sorry Ben!), they were wonderful about making sure we were happy. After all, we are going to live here for many many years to come, and I believe they understand that and want us to be 100% satisfied as customers.

I can confidently and wholeheartedly recommend Woodwise if you’re considering any work for your space. The process is intrusive but with Woodwise, we have felt completely comfortable and happy every step of the way.

This is a really great company to work with. They make the process as easy as it could be. Their communication was great, and Kathy's amazing design eye takes a lot of the stress out of decision making.

The owner came to our home today and was very friendly and honest. He explained that his designers would need to make the plans and that we weren’t really a good fit for his company based on our designs and ideas we already had in mind. I’m guessing our budget didn’t meet the companies expectations as he also said he was “the most expensive” if our project was in the 100k area we might have made the cut do do business with them.

Woodwise did major remodeling work for us in both our master bathroom and in our family room. We enjoyed working with their design team, project manager and all of their craftsmen. We were impressed with their attention to detail and their innovative ideas. The communication was excellent throughout the project. We are very pleased with the renovations and would recommend Woodwise to others as we feel confident in the quality of their work and the professionalism of their team.
