Powertrain automotive is a great shop with very friendly/knowledgeable and professional staff the receptionist Alisha very pleasant and understanding of your concerns for your vehicle and Dave whom is the technician has vast experience with many mechanical issues with your truck or car replaced my powersteering pump/Radiator/and removed and replaced my exhaust manifold with shorty headers along with all hoses and leaking lines very reasonable price for great work would recommend

David was very knowledgeable about the problems I was having with my 06 Dodge Ram where several previous shops were clueless about what was wrong. Had all the diagnostic equipment needed and charged a fair price for what was performed. He was very timely in getting my truck back to me

Powertrain Automotive is an outstanding company that deserves a great amount of praise and accolades 👏. I have a '95 Oldsmobile Aurora that only has 82K miles and happens to be a great car although it developed the Northstar engine head gasket-leak issues. Northstar technicians are a very rare breed and are difficult to find. I researched online and was fortunate to find this service located about an hour of travel from where I live. Btw, Powertrain has vehicles with Northstar engines shipped from all around the US to be serviced.

Alisha who is the office manager originally took my call and she was very helpful as well as very professional. She is a great listener and took a genuine interest in me as a potential customer. She turned me over to the expert Northstar technician named Dave who happens to be the business owner of Powertrain Automotive. Dave listened carefully to me about my issues with my Aurora and he developed a very logical and viable solution to my plight. He suggested a total rebuild of my engine and I was thoroughly educated by him about how this was the best solution 👌.

The whole rebuild took about a month and a half. I also received a 10% discount on labor for being a first-time customer. The cost of this endeavor was very reasonable and the end result was phenomenal. My Aurora drives like a new car. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Btw, he sent me pictures of his work- progress along the way. How many technicians do that? Dave took a situation that first looked hopeless in many ways and through his expertise turned things around in a great way. I tell everyone that I know about Powertrain Automotive!

Dave re-sealed my 07 Cadillac DTS North Star engine. Considering he is about 4 hours away from me and due to my schedule, all of this transaction was done over the phone. Dave didn’t hesitate to take 20 minute phone calls on a whim to detail out exactly what work was being performed, and also supplied photos along the way. You can tell Dave eat, sleeps, and breathes the north star engine. Car has run great since.
