I believe that my daughters life was saved when she came to this program. The ladies that work here are lifelong friends and support for her and my husband and I.

Adult & Teen Challenge of Oklahoma, specifically Freedom House, was a vessel that God used to restore my life! While going through the program I was able to give birth to a healthy baby and work on myself to be the best woman and Mother that I can be. The love and support that we received from this program is incomparable to anywhere else. After completing the program we were given the opportunity to live there while saving money and getting a start on a new life. I was originally from Mississippi and fell in love with Checotah, Oklahoma so much that I decided to stay in the area. Where I am in life now is night and day difference from where I was 2 years ago and I owe all the thanks to the program and staff at Freedom House Adult & Teen Challenge. Freedom House will always be our home. And the ladies that we met will forever have a place in our hearts.I recommend this program to anyone wanting a better life.

I have been to many programs in my life to try to get sober and stay sober. Freedom House is where my life changed for the better. I was pregnant when I started my program and the staff members always made sure all of my needs and my sons needs were met. It is the safest place I have ever been to recover from the mess I had made in my life. Freedom House and the team leaders there will always hold a special place in my heart. If you are looking for a life change, Freedom House is the answer.

Freedom house is an absolute God send! We had a special loved one that was in a horrible place in life 2 years ago.... (God of course first)... but this place saved her life.... wonderful staff... beautiful facility.... God filled.... opportunities... and lots of teaching... studies... and worship..... if you are looking for a top notch place for yourself or a loved one... this is it! She went to another place first and it wasn't the right fit.... this place gave her back her life... and a new career.... praise Jesus!!!!

I will forever be grateful that God placed Freedom house on my path to recovery. I remember calling and telling them I had nothing to bring. No money no clothes. Freedom House said "come as you are." During my stay I found self worth by working along side some of the most courageous wemon I have ever met. Not only did Freedom House look past my flaws but also didn't judge me for my criminal record. They allowed me to work my way up and give me responsibilities that involved great trust. I was rewarded as my family and my son would take me for out visits. Something special happens at Freedom House we learn intimacy with God and become less afraid of the world by trusting in him. Through our school work and with honesty we learn to talk about our past hurts habits and hangups. Though our job at the Thrift Store we learn how to bring God with us and serve our community. Knowing that every penny the thrift store makes helps the next lady in line coming through the door. When were at home eating a meal our food is prayed over and made with loving hands. ....Don't even get me started on the holidays I mean handmade gifts from blankets to ornimants. Thanksgiving and the food selection was homemade and heartfelt I ate so much I almost got sick. We brought the new Year in with a all you can eat nach bar candy and soda pop for the ones of us who wanted to stay up till 12 it was allowed and we brought the new Year in by singing worship to God. When it came time for me to leave Freedom House Ms. Love herself delivered me to my new home here Sapulpa. She came inside with me sat down with me and asked me if I felt comfortable before she gave me a hug and headed back home.
    Forever Grateful.
