    A hidden gem in Wilsonville.
After reading mixed reviews, we decided to give it a try on a Friday night.

We were pleasantly surpriseed. Food was great, service was fast and friendly. We ordered the chicken korma and lamb bhuna with naan. Very flavorful and filling. Reasonable pricing.

During our time dinning, there were at least 4-5 food delivery orders that were picked up so you know their food is good, even when delivered.

The asthetics of the restaurant is a bit confusing but that doesn't take away from the food itself.

Highly recommend coming here if you are craving Indian food and you live in the area. We will be returning.

Edit: I do not believe the pricing on the menu reflects current pricing. I would say add $4-$5 per dish when you summarize the check.

Very good Indian food! The chicken saag is so delicious. The place would be better as take out. The environment was just so so and cold!! They didn’t have the heat on and we ate with our jackets on. The new owner has not paid for the liquor license transfer, but the Indian tea was very good.

We really love The Indian Kitchen. We don’t come here near enough. I would say we probably only come once every couple of months. We should come more.

Probably the biggest reason to try this place is it is a local family serving fantastic Indian food. Tonight we had

Garlic Naan - unleavened bread with fresh coriander and garlic. I like this simple bread to use as a spoon to shovel the tasty other dishes into my belly! I give it 4/5 stars. Jenn thought it needed a little salt and a tad thin 3/5 stars.

Both entrees below came with a wonderfully floral Basmati rice.

Chicken Korma - Tender pieces of chicken cooked with mild spices and almonds. We ordered it medium spicy. This has become my favorite dish here. If you aren’t a spicy lover, get it mild. We like our dishes pretty spicy and I think this would be pretty spicy for most people. We both agree that this is a 5/5 stars. This is a must try.

Lamb Vindaloo - Tender pieces of lamb cooked with hot Madras spices. We ordered this medium spicy as well. Don’t let the term “hot Madras” fool you. It isn’t spicy like it’s Americans are used to. It is more of a warming spice. Jenn liked this but felt the spices over powered the lamb. She gives it 4/5 stars. I would agree with 4/5.

Kheer- Indian rice pudding cooked with milk and sugar. This was a nice round out to a wonderful meal. There was also cashews, raisins, and maybe cardamom. It was light and refreshing after a full meal. Jenn thought it was 4/5 stars. In my opinion it was just ok. I have a texture thing so not as much my favorite. It was prepared well so my lower score shouldn’t reflect on the dish itself. 3/5

Overall try this little place slice of Heaven in Wilsonville.

I ordered dinner for my kids and myself from The Indian Kitchen in Wilsonville.

DoorDash group order is super-easy and the food arrived fresh and hot.

We each had a Mango Lassi which honestly may be the best we’ve had!
It has an incredibly rich flavor and yet a lightness to it.

We all shared the Garlic Naan and Saag Paneer, which has complex flavors and plenty of tasty cheese.

I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and they each had the Chicken Makhani.
Both are wonderful with generous portions.

We all shared a large serving of the very tasty Basmati Rice

    Definitely a Five Star restaurant!!!

This place is absolutely amazing probably the best Indian food I’ve had in a very long time food came out very quick service was great even though there was no dining there’s a great seating area outside. Staff was super friendly and took the time to explain some of the dishes. The spices were excellent. Overall a very good experience definitely coming back!
