Benner's Meadow Run Camping and Cabins

They have all the amenities you could need for camping and cabins. The 3 nearby waterfalls are awesome.

This is a large beautiful campground with camping options ranging from cabins, yurts, tent sites, and rv spots with full hookups. It does use well water which has a faint oder, but you are in the middle of the mountains so this wasn't a surprise. The dog park is a nice big open area with a pond close by that has a couple ducks and occasional geese visits (you can see it in one of the photos i posted from the dog park). Lots of places for leash walking your dog too!
The rv spots are good size with gravel lots, nice solid wood picnic tables and fire rings. Although we were here in the winter and didn't get to enjoy them, there is a nice playground, gameroom, pool, and mini golf. Good price laundry machines on site. Our wifi worked great, but we were close to the office, so this could vary throughout the park. Plus, it is in a great location to enjoy all of the historical and nature areas these mountains offer. Lastly, the staff was very helpful and friendly.
My only reason for 4 stars is the price. It is corporate run, and I think corporate run places are usually more expensive. In my opinion, they should charge about 100 less for monthly rates especially in the winter since most of the amenities cannot be used at this time of year.

This staff here now is totally working round the clock to get this park going again. Hopefully we can keep them! They actually are working not just riding around on the quads like last year! You can see progress daily!

We had a great time here. When we arrived we got to the site assigned us and it was going to be difficult to get our camper situated there. Luckily for us, one of the staff was there and they said "I have another site that's better you want to move there?" We of course said "that would be great!" So we followed her and got set up at the new site, as a bonus the site also had septic hookup, our original site did not. We had a great weekend. Very accommodating. Plenty of things to do for kids. They had all kinds of activities, bingo, hay rides, video games, ice cream, pizza, swimming pool, a pond for fishing and feeding ducks. They also had adult activities. While we were there they had a moonshine tasting and a DJ in the evening. Just a really nice place and not terribly expensive.

We had a great time at the campground.
Fun features that we used included: gaga ball pit and a smaller size (average hotel size) but fairly deep swimming pool. Bath house/ restroom area can be a bit of a walk depending on where you're site is at. Staff was friendly and kind. The camp tries to offer many activities including some "off the wall" activities. For instance while we were there they had a reptile handler come in and show off his creatures. Very interactive. If you can handle good fun camping with a nice atmosphere this is your spot.
