  On a beautiful April afternoon, my friend and I took an Amish buggy ride through the Lancaster County countryside. Our driver, John, was very friendly, and knowledgeable concerning the history of the Amish and their culture. His stories, and the narrative he offered during the farm tour (which was a stop on the ride) were informative and fascinating. We learned quite a lot about the Amish, and enjoyed immensely the animals on the farm, and the stop to chat with the children and chance to purchase baked goods and items from them. I highly recommend Aaron and Jessica's Buggy Rides.

  Today's buggy ride was perfect, As we drove up John was waiting with the perfect carriage, with the stairs and the hand rails for my 96 year old mother (Florence) to slowly step aboard. Of course John was very accommodating with assisting her and guiding her " put your hand here works better. John our driver was very informative on sharing Amish orchards and farming practices. He pointed out a neighbor hooking up his Mule team to begin plowing. John had questions flying from customers as far as Norway and here we thought we were far away coming from Michigan. ".
  I was listening so intently I forgot the horses names. They were a team, that when called upon trotted without hesitation.

  Super cool experience! The young woman that took us around was very nice and put up with our questions that she probably gets asked at least 20 times a day. Beautiful scenery! I think it’s a great way to live, wish more people did. Make sure you tip you driver ;)

  We loved our buggy ride Kate. John was very informative and patient to explain every detail and answered all our questions regarding the culture. It was good half hour ride with so much exchange of information. John shared lot of information about all the places around and suggested some best bakeries and markets to visit.
  
  The place is just right on Intercourse and can be easily located while driving on the road. They are open Year round and very moderately priced. Only cash and ATM is available on-site. Parking available. Definitely recommended.

  Pretty good buggy ride and tour with some information about the Amish county and culture. We were 14 people including kids and we all easily fit in the large size buggy. The tour guide was nice enough to accommodate all the kids in the front rows, and answered all the kiddy questions and questions from adults about the Amish culture and traditions.
  We stopped at a barn with lot of horses, cows, cats, dogs, ships, llamas and more. Kids were able to feed the animals, take photos and pet them.
  They were also selling some chocolates, goodies, horseshoe, etc
  I wished we had more stops at more places for photo op.
  
  The place was very close to where we were staying and right on the highway and can be spotted easily on the way. They only took cash when we went there so make sure you have enough to cover the trip. There is an ATM in the next lot in case you don’t have cash on you. The parking lot is huge and they have many buggies for different needs. We went on Christmas eve day and we were glad to find that they were open that day. It’s not a long ride and most of the time is spend in the farm so please manage your expectations to not get disappointed.
