Incredible historic estate. Like walking back in time. Go during the spring when everything's in bloom and check out the Victorian gardens.
Beautiful grounds
We were there for a Township sponsored "Movie in the Park"... Fabulous! Grounds are beautiful, bathrooms clean & parking accessible. Always a pleasant experience!
Great place for any type of event! Amazing grounds & gardens! Also a very nice caretaker who works/stays there.
They have the most beautiful gardens! The estate itself is a little interesting, but the gardens are breathtaking. My husband and I held our wedding and reception here and we didn't even have to decorate for the ceremony because it was so lush and green! The staff are a little stricter about decorating the interior, but were incredibly helpful and supportive. It's a lovely, not as well known, location, but is certainly worth a visit!
Just one note of caution - the driveway gets quite steep. One of our tiered cakes actually toppled right as it got here (we didn't find out until later and it wasn't a big deal, but you may want to let your caterer know not to stack the cake until arriving, if possible).
