  I went here with a goal: to get sober. Greenbriar helped me do just that. I used all the services they offer from medical detox through Outpatient program and feel they have an excellent path to follow for recovery. Only God knows where I would be or what condition I would be in if it were not for this place. I’m very grateful.

  I cannot find the words to say how much this place and the people working there, have done for me and for so many others that have gone there. I am so thankful for the staff there for "not giving up on me" and for always reaching out to me to see "how I'm doing" and for NEVER closing their doors at any time when I need to call or stop in or just need an understanding ear. Thank you for always being there and for giving me 100% of your time and all your efforts into helping people like me on a new journey and path and a new way of life filled with the promise and hope of tomorrow. God Bless those for giving!!!!

  I just want to thank the staff for saving my life. I was pregnant when I came in and hated everyone working there I was difficult to deal with and in denial. I am coming up on a year clean next month and my counselor Jenny was the most amazing woman I've ever met! I have a beautiful daughter she was born healthy and she is the happiest baby in the world! Jenny I can't remember your last name but you are a hero!

  Greenbriar is a wonderful treatment center if you are serious about wanting to get sober. In comparison to Gateway, they have a much more structured program. The staff is more available and approachable at Greenbriar. They also have a brand new detox facility (as does Gateway), but the room situations in the rehab sides of the facilities are a bit different. Everyone has the same quality (just okay) rooms at Greenbriar. But at Gateway, those who have better insurance have much nicer rooms and are separate from the rooms of those whose insurance isn’t so great. When I was there 3 years ago, the “lower class” rooms were horrible. The bathrooms consisted of just a toilet and an accordion door. The sinks and mirrors were on the outside, and if you wanted to plug in a hairdryer or anything else, it had to be done in the hallway. The communal bathrooms were bigger and better at Greenbriar also.
  
  I was so uncomfortable at Gateway that I left early. In the 7 days I spent there, I never even got to meet with my therapist 1:1 and had more breaks and downtime than time in group. Greenbriar’s program was much more intensive and meaningful, and we were busy from 8:30 am to about 9 pm. I had to wait a few weeks to get into Greenbriar, but it was worth it.
  
  My apologies for the novel, but I hope it was helpful in making such an important decision during such a scary time.
