  Wynnewood Inn, The tour is wonderful, we arrived at 10am indulged in the rocking chairs till 11am tour. Note: President Pierce campaigned.

  Liked it unfortunately you cant go in main building unless on tour and only a few tours a day. But beautifully maintained.

  So cool to be living close to an old historic site!!! Went to the first "Mourning, Murder, and Medicine" presentation tonight and learned lots of interesting history about this amazing homesite. The presenters were dressed in period mourning clothing and had excellent interpreters/ tour guides to explain of the periods the home went through in the past. Would recommend to anyone to see and hear. Looking forward to any future special tours. Very well worth the time and minimal charge to learn about Tennessee local history. Ps. The the place has ghosts!

  We took the combo tour of Cragfoot and Wynnwood. It was so interesting to hear how many transformations this estate went through over the years. Wonderful history.

  Amazing place with so much historical significance. Rick the docent was super knowledgeable and a general just great guy. He brings southern charm and enthusiasm to his deciminantion of history of the Wynnewood house. We hear about history and the civil war , but never really saw the effects of it. This brought it all to life how working people lived thru this era. Seeing actually artifacts from that time and the Jesse James contact was really interesting. Thank you for a great time and your welcoming feeling of your great house!

Covid-19 Update - Wynnewood State Historic Site Beginning on October 1st, Wynnewood will be open for guided house tours Thursday through Sunday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wynnewood's historic landscape will be open to visitors Thursday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at no charge. Guided landscape tours will be available at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday through Sunday for $5 per person.
