Quality Inn Rockport on Aransas Bay

This place is awesome. We always stay here because of the pier and the view of the water. It's so nice and they do have a pool. They serve breakfast and it's also good but wish they would change up the menu every now and then 🫤 but overall I'm giving them 5 stars ☺️

Room very large and appears to have been newly renovated. Very clean and comfortable bed. Cold AC !!!

Stuff. Coffee was good.

I made a reservation online a couple weeks before & it said check in was 3pm. We drove 4.5 hours & got there at 3:02pm to be told they had no rooms & check in isn’t until 4pm. They said they would call us when a room was ready so we went to Walmart, etc. to kill time. They finally called us at almost 5pm & I went & got my key, we carried all of our bags & everything to the room & when we got to our room (we paid for a king bed) the room was not clean & the bed wasn’t even made. I called the front desk from the room & was told to come wait in the office until they could get us a room ready. We ended up getting a double queen bed instead of our original room. BUT the room was clean, The staff is VERY friendly & accommodating!
The pool is nice but the picnic area bbq pits were not that great (someone left corn on the cob & a huge mess of food in the grills & they were filthy). The day after we got here we went to the store & when we came back our cards wouldn’t work to get in the door so I had to go back to the office after carrying bags of things up the stairs. There have been some minor inconveniences but overall it’s still a great place to stay & great location. Housekeeping came in while we were gone & mopped the floors & cleaned everything, even the headboards to the beds (she had just finished our room when we got back). They had an emergency & had to call an ambulance so we didn’t get to make it to the free breakfast (which we understood). I would still highly recommend this place!

The management at this facility is very accommodating, kind, polite and respectful. Great fishing and lots of stuff to do within a 30 minute drive if you want to enjoy good restaurants and incredible Texas beaches (Port Aransas: Mustang Beach)!!
As you may know, Rockport suffered a direct hit from a hurricane several years ago, but you would hardly guess that by seeing how resilient this town and it's citizens have rebounded from the storms' carnage. Rockport is a community worth supporting!

It’s not a bad place I don’t understand the bad reviews,If your on a fishing trip and just need a bed to sleep it’s a good place.Just a basic room but it was very clean and has a private pier,nice view of the bay! I would definitely return! On another note it is very shallow at the pier so fishing wasn’t to great we had to go to the long pier down the road with the green lights to catch fish.
