Dr. Burke is a highly skilled clinician. Her interview skills, careful review of a patient's chart, and incredible physical exam skills set her apart from other physicians. As a health care provider, I was stunned by her incredible physical exam skills. It is a dying art, but one in which Dr. Burke excels. More importantly, however, she has a deep and complete understanding of the physiologic causes of disease making her an excellent diagnostician. She is thorough, patient, and kind.
Dr. Burke is an excellent doctor to be a patient of. She always takes the time to be sure that I know what needs to be done or can be done with whatever my health issues are. She is also an extremely pleasant person to discuss things with. I highly recommend her!
I had been with my previous physician for 20 years and she was amazing, but she moved to Austin last year and I had been dreading finding a new doctor. In this day and age of "get them in, get them out" and timed appointments, it is very difficult to find a physician with whom you can connect.
I heard about Dr. Burke through the "Nextdoor" app. My neighbors highly recommended her, and wow, were they on point! I absolutely love Dr. Burke and her team! Everyone is very kind and patient-focused. Dr. Burke takes the time to listen, ask questions, take notes, and then set a plan WITH her patient. The simplest things - eye contact, a smile, clarifying questions - mean so very much. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Burke, and highly recommend her practice.
