  Dr. Stuckey and Catherine his PA are excellent. They offered many other interventions before surgery, and always incorporated my thoughts and concerns into our shared decision making regarding my plan of care. I would describe Dr. Stuckey and his team as efficient, thorough and caring. He is personable and kind, and took time to answer all of my questions. His surgery schedulers worked quickly to schedule me, authorize my procedure and coordinate with another surgeon, who was assisting in my case.
  
  I am 3 months out from my back surgery, and truly have a much better quality of life.

  Dr. Stuckey, wow! A fresh breath of air. I have had a bad experience with my doctor of 5 years, the past year increasingly went sour. I was told to go to Fondren Orthopedic and met with his PA and the doctor. I didn’t know what to expect. I thought they would be heartless like my last doctor but they were so attentive and listened to my concerns. They were so professional and wanted to help and give me the best treatment. I can breathe again. Thank you and God bless

  So he’s cute & wears cowboy boots. I saw him for my consult & before discharge. That’s it. His PA does the rest. I’m just shy of a year post op. He fused my L4/5 & my L5/S1. I didn’t die & am not paralyzed so I think it was a success. I will say, speak to him before surgery about pain management. We never discussed it, but the anesthesiologist told me the morning of surgery I would have a pain pump. Not only did this not happen, Stuckey had only ordered Tylenol after surgery. When I 1st woke up the pain was unbearable. I’ve had both hips replaced & the pain didn't even come close to this surgery! I literally lost it. It was AWFUL . Cmon doc, nobody is getting addicted from pain relief from a shot after surgery. For real. Super hard recovery, they don’t order PT, which is needed. But he’s a good surgeon. I’d use him again. Just discuss the pain situation with him so you don’t want to kill yourself after surgery. This being said, I highly recommend him and Texas Orthopedic Hospital…

  I got excellent care and surgery from Dr. Stuckey. If I ever have to have surgery on anything else that he performs surgery on, it will be from him. I felt very secure and safe knowing he would be doing my surgery. He was careful to explain every aspect of my surgery before hand. After surgery, he was quick to explain everything that he had to do. He is a very knowledgeable surgeon. I highly recommend him.

  Doctor Stuckey performed both lower back and neck surgery on me. The whirlwind of emotions of not just one but two surgeries will certainly be a cause for hesitation. But I can say, Dr. Stuckey did a terrific job in surgery and being very specific with post-op instructions and care. He and his staff were always kind, helpful, professional, and respectful of my time. I am pain free and doing well.
