  We are so grateful to have found this beautiful space. Rooms are immaculate and comfortable. Pool area was fantastic. We loved the lake access and the Chapel. This is now one of our favorite spots. Thank you for your hospitality.

  We actually stumbled across this gem when it popped up in my “resorts with lazy river” search results (because it’s about 200 yards from the Brazos River)! When I saw the pictures I fell in love so we booked it even though it wasn’t what we were initially looking for. I feel like we lucked out since they just opened and aren’t well known yet because I can’t imagine there will be many more weekends when there aren’t weddings booked because is the PERFECT wedding venue!! Our navigation did send us to the wrong place right down the road for some reason, but google maps on my phone directed us to the right place. The secluded area is a bonus in my opinion! Check in was easy as it is done virtually and you’re given a key code for your villa. The property is quiet, peaceful and pristine. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We walked the short walk to the river with our 2 boys and they played there for a while while I collected a few rocks. We cooled off in their magnificent pool. The villas are so charming. And the beds were so comfortable that my husband 100% unzipped the mattress pad this morning to see what brand they were! It was definitely the relaxation and recharge we all needed at the end of a 2 week road trip. I absolutely would recommend staying here.

  My family and I had the most wonderful time here. We were blown away at the details put into each casita/villa to make our stay comfortable. Very kid friendly, and just a short drive to the dinosaur park. My kids enjoyed the swimming, fishing and exploring Glen Rose. We felt welcomed the moment we checked in and an added bonus was the breakfast the owners had for us every morning. Truly an amazing place run by some awesome people. We are already planning our next stay.

  Wonderful place for a family reunion or wedding! Beautiful and quiet countryside yet easy to get to with Chisholm trial and 67. The architecture and design of everything is beautiful, I couldn’t stop taking pictures. And the casitas are very roomy and homey, our kids wanted to move in permanently! Loved the pool to cool off and relax, and enjoyed having coffee on the patio in the morning while watching the hummingbirds and dragonflies flutter around the colorful bushes. We’ll be back!

La Palmilla Texas. 1626 South FM 200, Nemo, TX 76070. 817-228-6633. La Palmilla is a small resort located just 6 miles from our venue! Not necessarily the cheapest, but super cute and convenient. We almost wished we would have booked our wedding here.
