Classes are usually 3 to 5 people, equipment is top notch and both coaches, Cara and Taylor, are extremely knowledgeable trainers that adapt exercises to individual needs. Cara puts a lot of effort into designing her weekly classes so that nothing is ever routine, it's really a joy to attend class. Stretching and warm-up starts the class and before each set of exercises, Cara demonstrates the correct form and what to avoid. I started 3 1/2 years ago in my mid-sixties and I can't believe how much stability, endurance and improved strength I have. I also enjoy the nice people I've met.
Understanding of my needs and having a program that fits. I am a novice at this so the time taken to show techniques is greatly appreciated.
Slade is a rare fitness place. Although part of a class, the individual tracks are custom. So, it's as if you have a personal trainer all the time. Very knowledgeable, very friendly staff. I'm sold.
Small gym-huge results! When I turned 60 I joined Slade Fit Club to get stronger. Not only am I getting excellent results in strength training, but I’m getting more flexible too. Cara and Taylor stress stretching as an essential to strength and posture. Great training in a personal atmosphere.
Love the semi-private training that Slade provides. I always feel challenged, encouraged and motivated to do my personal best in a way that feels safe and individualized.
