These people are old school: honest, direct, helpful and caring. Rare to find such a great team in today's world. They are our go-to number one auto repair place and I never thought we'd find such folks in the greater Austin area. More than once they have fixed our car for free, because it wasn't an expensive fix. They have accepted parts we've bought online from Rock Auto and installed them for us. They have even explained to us how to fix a problem ourselves without charging us. Who does this? Gregor Rocks! Try them. The anchor man is from Connecticut, so get ready for a refreshing New England accent!
Just found and used Gregor Imported Car Repair and all I can say is I have found a home for all my repair/service/maintenance needs. They really do treat you like family and are honest and fair. I really like that they listened to my wife and treated her with respect as it was her car that needed the work. I can't recommend them enough. Great family business!
Gregor Imported Car Repair handled all of my Honda cars and the few trucks I owned while living in Texas. I was visiting from Nevada and scheduled to have my oil changed while in town. Both the father and son have always explained why work is necessary and allowed me to decide if I could do it then or schedule for a future visit.I have been unable to find as good a place to take my current Honda, as I had with them for so many years. Recommend others give them a try and find out there are people who still do good work, for a fair price, the first time.
Had my Brakes done here on my truck and I am very satisfiedwith y h the outcome. Their customer service was amazing. Brian and Alan are so honest, knowledgeable and hard working. I strongly recommend and suggest getting your vehicles serviced here. I'm definitely bringing all my vehicles to have them service them!
I've been using Alan for thirty-five years and Brian since he joined his dad. I keep coming back because they are the most honest and fair priced auto repair shop bar-none. They are not only exceptional at what they do but just good people. The only time I've had to return for follow up was well over 20 years ago when a rebuilt brake cylinder part went out. Alan said he'd used a rebuilt part to save me money, (I had two teens then). When I returned Alan had installed a new part and said I own nothing. He said I'd been using him for 13 years and he appreciated the support. I told him then, he had a customer for life and I haven't regretted it since. Today, I took a son's car in for mechanical work. When I got home I noticed Alan or Brian had refitted some body work that was somewhat out of place. Again, it's just the kind of extra kindness one would hope for. Gregor's hasn't changed their quality or value compared to other shops and especially dealers. Don't let the name fool you. They work on domestic and foreign vehicles. 7/8/2020
