Ocean View Inn

Needed last minute budget lodging to celebrate friends going away. Really grateful for more than affordable price and flexibility with check-in. Also, appreciate the front desk for accommodating to guests needs during late hours. Thanks to Vitta (sp.), who was kind enough to let us switch rooms on such short notice due to some issues with the initial booking. Also, location is right on the water and just a 5 minute walk to the 7-eleven. Housekeeping is on the kinder side compared to neighboring motels!

They are doing upgrades in its looking real good

Very nice and helpful staff. Beachfront access. I cut my foot on the oysters (totally my fault) and the owner insisted he poured peroxide on the cuts. You can tell they try to keep the rooms clean. We came at the end of tourist season so they started doing renovations repainting the outside and the rooms, so you can tell the owners really care about the place and want to fix it up. All this coupled with the price makes it a great place to go if you're on a budget

The place has problems. There are roaches. Our room had no closet, no hooks and no towel rods. The was no place to hang a wet towel or a wet bathing suit. The bathroom was huge with lots of counter space. The room was big and the efficiency kitchen was actually bigger than the one in my apartment (that's pretty sad for me). The best part was you could spit and hit the beach. The people who run the place were very nice and they are trying to make the place better. We were very appreciative that they had a room for us at a good price on very short notice. We went to hang out on the beach and we did so the room was fine enough. If you're not fussy or overly boujie it's a bargain.
