  Love this place for hiking and camping! The hiking trail is so serene and peaceful with awesome views of Mt. Rainer. The trail is family friendly and rarely crowded in the morning. I think the o my thing that would make the campgrounds better is if some of the campsites had power available for trailers or RVs. I usually run a generator, but feel bad about the noise pollution and turn it off in the evening. Excellent park and campgrounds other than my super minor power complaint.

  Nice little campground! Make SURE you lock up your food and garbage at night though, those little masked bandits aren't afraid of you at all! Short little hike to the water makes for some great views! Lots of paved areas for the kiddos to ride bicycles, etc on.

  Absolutely beautiful views, lots of hiking trails, parking. Clean restrooms. Picnic tables. The hike around Penrose Point has the best view of Mt Rainier.

  Have not been here in over 20 years. Not much has changed. Maybe some new trails, some trails permanently closed due to erosion. Made it here half way to the lowest tide of the day. Too many dogs off of their leashes. No trash and no bbq cooking allowed. No fire in the fire pits and no use of charcoal. It's fire season don't you know. Good to stay safe. There was a team of youth ecology workers scooping up trash in the water. Two incredibly huge ocean going type canoe's. Our littles had a good time. Campground area was clean and quiet. Not many campers this. Cannot wait for clams and oysters to open again. We will return. Thank you.
